Bandit Love (by Oriza Martins)
Where does come from such tension,
Jealousy, bitterness and resentment,
Mixed with passion
Of a lovely taste?
Why do we live in merging
Conflicting emotions,
Why do keep on fighting
Over foolish reasons?
If you want me, I want you,
I live in order to adore you,
But sometimes I do not know
If I should laugh or cry…
We live a feeling
Rare, intense, throbbing.
In the bowl of illusions,
Our love is overflowing.
Overflows in caresses
Descends into banal actions,
Explodes on subtle pleasure,
Moans, fatal screams.
This passion is so strong
That absorbs our minds,
Blunts the understanding,
Snatches and hurts us.
Our fate is to go on
Along the path of seduction,
Amid pleasure and weep
Amid reason and emotion
We live an absolute love,
Bandit, loyal, villain,
A mixture of good and evil,
In the wefts of heart.
