Love and want to be loved

Meeting you was a fascinating step
Towards the meaning of life,
It was a gift, given in a hug of God,
A portal of love, a shelter.

I thank you for the sweet delight
Of warming my cold nights,
With emotions, happiness and caress

I love you, a love of no selfishness,
Of no fatal demands and no censure
A doação based on altruism
Love in its most pure meaning.

For true love is a change
Spontaneous for a heart in love…
A love that gives freedom, not slavery,
And being loved respects and values…
And as I love…
…I also want to be loved.
